Robert Garcia: A Green Place to Play

FORCES OF NATURE Posted on July 3, 2019 by Lynn AlexanderNovember 23, 2019

This is a powerful interview of Robert Garcia, a legal and policy champion for low income, disadvantaged, and communities of color. He is the Founding Director and Counsel of the City Project, based in Los Angeles, California. Mr. Garcia speaks passionately and eloquently about civil rights, social justice, and environmental justice. The marginalized and the poor must have equal access to resources, including parks and green spaces. Mr. Garcia’s work has changed prejudicial polices and practices into equitable and vitally needed green spaces, parks, and other public health resources for discriminated people. His advocacy work is local, statewide, national and international, and all with important successes and lessons. Enjoy this!
