Michael Wright shares his experience that human risks and concerns are often associated with the preservation of land in the developing world. He has negotiated for restoration and conservation programs that provide adaptive measures that assure critical resources for indigenous communities when nearby land is to be conserved. Mr. Wright details several project examples and some of the risks of land conservation in developing countries.
