Marty Krasney, a peripheral visionary, shares his personal journey to discovering his path in life and later finding a position at the Aspen Institute in 1975. A scholarly reader of the classics, he points out some great authors and books that have strong politico-environmental themes and perspectives that have influenced him. Mr. Krasney lives with a condition that affects his visual acuity. His vision is rather blurry, like the peripheral vision of a better-sighted person. He finds that some people easily follow binary choices to reach a goal. However, Marty’s vision challenges and his innate creativity have led to discovering many different and unique paths that others never see.
