This is a story about a fight to preserve 40,000 acres of wilderness on Admiralty Island. The island at that time was the largest wilderness island in the world. It is off the coast of Alaska.  Joseph Brecher, a lawyer for the case, explains some of the details.  In the end he was ultimately successful in protecting the land, but there is a lesson here.
