Ken Brower is the son of the famous environmental activist, Michael Brower, who led the Sierra Club for many years. Michael was a larger than life figure. Ken discusses his life growing up with a famous father and how he met many influential people, such as photographer, Ansel Adams; Supreme Court Justice William Douglas, and author, Wallace Stegner (Wilderness Letter). He lists four important books that influenced his thinking and are still relevant reading for any environmentalist.
