Ken Brower: Writing for Wilderness
In this upbeat interview with author, Ken Brower, he is asked about his thoughts on wilderness. Ken describes why it is important, and why it needs to be “resold” to people. Ken Brower is the son of the famous environmental activist, Michael Brower, who led the Sierra Club for many years. Michael was a larger than life figure. Ken discusses his life growing up with a famous father and how he met many influential people, such as photographer, Ansel Adams; Supreme Court Justice William Douglas, and author, Wallace Stegner (Wilderness Letter). He lists four important books that influenced his thinking and are still relevant reading for any environmentalist.
